·  1988: Bachelor’s degree in Home Management, Ewha Woman’s University, Seoul, Korea

·   1984-1988: studied Korean calligraphy with Oh Shil Kwon, Seoul, Korea

·   1992: attended adult education classes in ceramics offered by Brevard Community College, FL

·   1994-1996: studied ceramics at Crealde’ School of Art, Winter Park, FL
