Ten Women in Art is a group of highly regarded professional artists whose mission is to promote and educate the public about the diversity in women’s art through group exhibitions.

In 1983, Ten Women in Art banded together in order to explore desirable new exhibition opportunities. The members:
Nancy Baur Dillen, Susan Martin, Becky Beerensson, Lydia Friedland, Carol Garutti, Grace Leal, Nancy Blair, Ellen Pavlakos, Lynn Murray Spencer, and Helen Byon are Central Florida artists working in all types of media, including oil, acrylic, mixed media, sculpture, drawing, printing and computer-generated images. All having varied backgrounds.

As art educators, community leaders and art activists, the women within this group are deeply committed to impacting their community through their life’s work and their art. Their work provides multiple perspectives, for as ten vibrant individuals, each is guided by a different inner vision that gives shape and reason to her art.
